Poetica Pro Anima
Medicine comes in many forms to the human body and soul… and right now there is no shortage for need of good medicine. We invite you to partake in the good medicine that poetry provides. Through Poetica Pro Anima (Poetry for the Soul) we envision this community gathering @ 6:30 pm each Tuesday night to share poetry with each other. Whether it’s reading from your favorite master or blessing us with an original, we are eager to gather in a contemplative fashion to soothe our souls.

Mindy BraunExecutive Director of Journey Center Santa RosaMindy was drawn to the Journey Center because of the radical hospitality and oasis of rest it provides while at the same time having a clear mission to bring healing and wholeness through encountering the Holy.
Mindy graduated with the 2021 Cohort of the Journey Center Association’s Spiritual Director Formation Program and also became the Executive Director of Journey Center Santa Rosa. Her passion is to create safe, sacred spaces for all people to experience love and belonging. One way she does this is through facilitating various groups – God in Nauture hikes, Poetica Pro Anima (Poetry for the Soul), Art Journal Examen, racial reconciliation groups, and Oasis for Activists.
Her favorite spiritual practices are either art journaling, tending her garden, or hiking in the forest.
