Lean into Love… with Lectio Divina (Weekly)

Lean into Love has awakened me to God’s loving and healing presence and has been truly transforming.  – Participant

In this time of personal and global crisis, we are invited to step out of anxiety and stress and enter into sacred space where we can breathe and be restored for this unexpected journey we all find ourselves on. Jim Wallis encourages us to lean into love instead of fear. When we take time to encounter the Holy personally, we discover a reservoir of love that fills us and overflows to others.

Join Joanna Quintrell for Lean into Love…with Lectio Divina. In this live half hour online prayer/meditation experience, we engage with this simple sacred reading practice and lean into the love that surrounds us and is always available to us. All are welcome…

This event will be held online via Zoom. (Learn more about joining a Zoom meeting.) Use the form below to RSVP and receive the Zoom link. (You only need to RSVP one time, not for every Lean Into Love session you plan to attend.) Or contact joanna@journeycenter.org with any questions.

    Joanna Quintrell
Spiritual Director, Journey Center Online Executive Director

Joanna Quintrell serves as the Executive Director of the Journey Center Association. It was in the year 2000 that she found herself in a spiritual crisis and first learned about spiritual direction, a gift that was life-changing and heart-transforming for her… no one had ever taught her how to nurture her own inner life with God. Joanna began her training as a spiritual director in 2003 (trained at the Mercy Center, Burlingame and the Center for Spiritual Direction in Chicago). She served as the founding director of Journey Center Santa Rosa in California through 2016 and then established the Journey Center Association in 2017. She has been the co-director of the Association’s 2-year Spiritual Director Formation Program since 2009. In addition to the joy of holding sacred space for others, Joanna loves organic gardening, hiking, traveling and grand-parenting. She and her husband live in Santa Rosa, California.
