Follow the Road of Yellow Bricks: The Enneagram in the Wizard of Oz Story
The Wizard of Oz is one of the most famous modern teaching stories, made famous by the 1939 movie (which was one of the most successful and creative uses of technicolor). Brilliantly, L. Frank Baum poses the dilemmas of our centers of intelligence (Head, Heart, Body) in three of the main characters. Universal conundrums are portrayed by Dorothy and the Wizard.
Participants will witness the transformation of the three main characters, make the transformation their own as they step into the shoes of those characters, notice how Dorothy and the Wizard are exemplars of three very human traits, and discover three important things for their own lives as they move toward living more fully from their authentic self.
You are invited to experience this story – walking the road and “conversing” with the characters.
A master story-teller, Kathryn Grant will bring this story to life and help you apply it to your journey down the road of yellow bricks.

Kathryn GrantCertified Enneagram Instructor, Spiritual DirectorKathryn Grant is a spiritual director and Certified Enneagram Instructor. She completed her spiritual direction training through Stillpoint/Centerpoint in Santa Barbara, CA. Her Enneagram training and certification was with Jerome Wagner, PhD. (EnneagramSpectrum Master Trainer- working with Jerry to train Enneagram instructors). She, Jerry and a colleague, Mysti Rainwater are developing an online Enneagram training course specifically for Therapists. Kathryn is an International Enneagram Association Accredited Professional. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL and Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL. She is also a Life Coach, trained with Clegg Coaching and Training and Mario Sikora’s Enneagram International Certification. She is honored to have co-taught Travels with Odysseus with Michael Goldberg and is an authorized workshop presenter. A confirmed storyteller, Kathryn loves the richness of good stories to enhance our learning experience!
