The Inner Work of Age: Shifting from Role to Soul
If you are interested in the soul work in aging, join us to reflect on your experience of aging through the lens of Connie Zweig’s new book, with the thought-provoking title, The Inner Work of Age: Shifting from Role to Soul. Some of the questions to be considered include:
- What are you experiencing as the soul work in aging?
- To what are you being called in this season of life?
- How are you experiencing your vocation?
As we read the book together, we will discuss how the content intersects with the story of our own lives and engage in some of the suggested spiritual practices.
Facilitator: Mary Chase Ziolek is an emerging elder as well as a spiritual director and former professor of health ministries and nursing.
Dates: February 2, 16, and March 2, 16
Meetings will be held virtually on every other Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm CST, each organized around a section of the book. Reflection questions will be sent out before each gathering.
Cost: Pay what you can. (Suggestion donation: $25)
