sharing the sacred series logo

Throughout the year, we take the Journey Center booth to various markets and festivals, handing out free water and offering healing prayer. Check here for details as these festivals are scheduled.

Come to share what is sacred in a variety of ways and in a variety of settings. We'll attend services and ceremonies, and enjoy sacred teachings and sacred music at the Journey Center and in various faith communities. This is an opportunity for the spiritual seeker, those who are just curious and those desiring to expand their understanding of others. Gather with us as we build bridges through the common threads of what is sacred. Event locations and costs are listed. Registration is required. Please register on our website or by calling the Journey Center at 707-578-2121.

We are pleased to share this invitation from our dear friend Ashira Sheila Katz, the co-founder and Executive Director of Beit Ayin, a national non-profit that brings Jewish spiritual practice to people through sacred chanting, meditation, contemplative prayer, storytelling and movement. She invites us to this special monthly gathering which will takes place at the Journey Center.

The Sonoma County Sunday Meditation Sit and Study Has a NEW HOME and a BRAND NEW CLASS: Into the Mystic-a Sacred Journey through Music, Meditation and Mystery Teaching

Join us as we take a journey into Kedushat Levi, the great Torah commentary of 19th century scholar, kabbalist and Rebbe, Levi-Yitzchak of Berdichev. Drawing from written, oral and mystical traditions Kedushat Levi offers insights into our relationship with G-d, with each other, and with ourselves. Levi-Yitzchak of Berdichev is known and admired throughout the Jewish world for his great humility, the depth of his knowledge, and for the compassion contained in his teachings.

Our teacher and guide on this journey is the nationally renowned Rabbi Lavey Derby who, in addition to his own considerable accomplishments, is a direct descendant of Levi-Yitzchak of Berdichev. Music and Meditation will be led by David Rubinstein and Ashira Katz, who have been teaching meditation groups locally and around the Bay Area for over 10 years.

This class is appropriate for ALL levels and backgrounds.
NO knowledge of Hebrew or Judaism is needed.
