Here we are again, at the changing of the seasons and it is time to let you know what is coming up next month at the Journey Center.
My husband and I just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary and spent some time at the coast reflecting on the many things that we find ourselves grateful for at this point in our journey together. As we drove home on Sunday, I began thinking along those same lines about the experiences and blessings that so many of you have told us you have received through your connection to the Journey Center. We are able to be here in the community because of generous donors and wonderful pray-ers, and it occurred to me that I would like to bless those folks by compiling a small book of stories…YOUR stories…about how you have encountered God, been touched by the Spirit, and otherwise been blessed by experiencing the Holy here.
If you could take a few minutes to send me just a paragraph that captures what you are grateful for, I would love to include your story and, in time for Thanksgiving, have a gift to give those who make it possible for us to be here. (We’ll also have copies available for everyone to read!).
Thank you for taking the time to share, if you would like to! And thank you for taking the time to read now about the resources we are offering in the month of September. We would love to be a blessing to you, so call us at 707-578-2121 or register online at www.journeycenter.org if you see something that seems suited to where you find yourself in your life right now. We have arranged the September gatherings by Series so you can more easily find what you are interested in:
