Journey Center Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Is the Journey Center Christian?

All the resources offered through the Journey Center are rooted in Christ-centered spirituality, healing and wholeness.

Do I have to agree with your beliefs in order to attend classes/events?

Absolutely not! We are here to encourage everyone who is aware of their spiritual thirst and longing for God, regardless of their particular faith or spiritual orientation. All are welcome… come as you are, and know that you will not be judged or pressured, only loved and accepted! In fact, the resources featured on our website are specifically designed to be welcoming and safe spaces where you can connect with God wherever you find yourself on the journey. On the very last page of the Bible, in the book of Revelation, we read these words… "The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life." (Revelation 22: 17) We encourage you to come as you are to God, and know that the invitation is for you!

Is the Journey Center part of a particular church?

The Journey Center is a non-profit organization, not a church. Those who are part of our leadership community are involved in various Christ-centered faith communities in Sonoma County, but we do not represent a particular church.
